Holidays galore for workers in Britain .
WORKERS in the UK and Spain take more annual holidays than any other employees in the world, according to a new study.
The poll, by travel agency Expedia, revealed that Spain, followed closely by the UK, are the “least holiday-deprived” countries.
The annual survey measures the holiday habits of some 11,114 adults, in 19 countries. Most respondents in Spain had taken 21-30 days off in a year, which also applied to more than 50% of UK workers.
Despite coming out as the most satisfied countries in the study, however, they still complained, with 47% of Spaniards and 48% of Brits stating they do not have enough holidays.
Unsurprisingly, perhaps, Indian workers were the most holiday-deprived, the country’s punishing work culture taking its toll on a whopping 75% of them.
